Prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle
Explain value proposition and demonstrate cloud based Point of Sale solution
Upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services
Maintain regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager
Work closely with local District Manager to set appointments with business owners via network and referral partnerships
Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Point of Sale solutions to close sales
Use CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, client financial analysis and paperless contract processing
Prospect new clients and maintain CRM records including call notes and scheduled client interactions
Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota
Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio and industry developments
Attend weekly team meeting and weekly one-on-one with leader
Requirements
18 years of age or older
valid drivers license
background check after conditional offer
Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment
Live in area relative to job posting location
Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
High school diploma/GED (preferred)
At least two years of relevant experience (preferred)
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
Works well independently and as part of a team

Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity
High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus
