Representative

• Unloading, sorting, and staging products.
• Sorting, staging, and preparing orders for shipments utilizing RF scanning system; manually pulling specialized, non RF scanner product as needed (sample chairs, parts, literature, etc.)
• Sorting and placing stock products on racks, shelves or in bins according to assigned bin location.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 50-80lbs, occasionally team-lift and/or team-move objects that weigh 80-150lbs.
• Complete, maintain daily, weekly maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Communicate any issues with specific shipping, delivery, packaging and tagging requirements to Customer Care, Warehouse Manager and/or General Manager.
• Respond to both internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
• Complete work accurately, timely and with a high level of attention to detail.
• Assist in performing inventory cycle counts.
• Maintains Safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat, sweep, dust and mop.
• Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
• Safely operate all warehouse PIT including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamp trucks and pallet jacks.
• Wear all proper safety equipment (PPE) as required.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, report incidents promptly, and participate in training sessions.

• Support clients by accurately entering and reviewing order details while ensuring timely processing and exceptional service.

Warehouse Associate

Sales

• Coordinate and maintain showroom appointments, calendar and tours with dealers and other showroom visitors
• Answer phones and field questions/requests
• Increase awareness and interest among designers and end-users of Global's brand, products and capabilities
• Negotiate with outside vendors, maintain budgets, coordinate off-site networking activities, plan F+B for multiple type events
• Active showroom responsibilities include routine maintenance, updating product displays, event preparation, food service, food + beverage procurement, presentation and clean-up
• Maintain showroom, customer, presentation and guests logs, budgets & spreadsheets
• Inventory and maintain building and catering supplies
• Assist marketing/design department with daily administration, team projects, and daily organizational tasks
• Engage with & communicate our brand, products & services with dealers, designers, and project managers/brokers
• Identify/involve our company in projects that best suit our products, services & capabilities
• Manage house accounts in the market and periodically go out to dealers/vendors to follow up as needed
• Ensure appropriate relationships are developed with key influencers

Showroom Coordinator – Sales Support

Outside Sales

• Identify and select dealer targets willing and capable of growing Global sales
• Identify and involve Global in projects that fit Global’s products, services, and capabilities
• Ensure appropriate market coverage by assessing existing dealers’ capacity to grow and identifying new dealer candidates
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key dealer personnel, designers, and end-users to drive sales and increase market share
• Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, and presentations to dealers and customers within the territory
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and growth objectives as set by management
• Provide product expertise and training to dealer partners to ensure effective promotion and positioning of Global’s products
• Maintain current knowledge of market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth
• Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service and operations, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Prepare and submit required reports, forecasts, and updates in a timely manner
• Frequent travel in the field more than 50% within the assigned geographic territory, which may involve driving long distances daily

• Improve seating market share opportunities by collaborating in the development of products that are better than category leaders + enhancing products with new features and/or extensions
• Innovate the seating portfolio by redefining value, middle-market and contract industry positions with fresh design and material across all categories + verticals
• Direct and align category product development by defining its vision, roadmap and priorities
• Collaborate with Director of Seating and sales leadership to define category goals, target segments and vertical market strategies
• Direct product support efforts, ensuring consistent customer experience + addressing quality control trends on a regular basis
• Collaborate with Director of Seating to translate customer, market and competitive insights into product requirements
• Ensure products align with growth targets, margin/pricing requirements and differentiate the brand from its competitors
