About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Unloading, sorting, and staging products.
- Sorting, staging, and preparing orders for shipments utilizing RF scanning system.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 50-80 lbs, occasionally team-lift and/or team-move objects that weigh 80-150lbs.
- Complete, maintain daily, weekly maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Communicate any issues with specific shipping, delivery, packaging and tagging requirements to Customer Care, Warehouse Manager and/or General Manager.
- Respond to both internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
- Complete work accurately, timely and with a high level of attention to detail.
- Assist in performing inventory cycle counts.
- Maintains Safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Safely operate all warehouse PIT including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamp trucks and pallet jacks.
- Wear all proper safety equipment (PPE) as required.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate with customers, sales personnel and internal staff.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Basic RF scanner knowledge preferred.
- Ability to pass PIT certifications provided by Global.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Ability to work in extreme hot and/or cold weather conditions.
