Execute membership recruiting strategies via in-person presentations and phone calls to increase girl and adult lead generation in assigned geographic areas
Present benefits of Girl Scouting to potential girl members and adult volunteers at schools, places of faith, community centers, afterschool programs, etc., using established scripts
Register girl members and adult volunteers as new Girl Scout members; assist with on-site registration and process memberships via paper or online forms
Assist with membership pipeline from initial interest to registration to troop placement via phone, in-person, or online
Assist with administrative work to prepare recruitment events and support post-event membership conversion
Schedule dates and times for school presentations and coordinate assigned recruitment sites
Ensure Girl Scouting accessibility to diverse populations across varied socioeconomic communities
Communicate Girl Scout product features, benefits, and impact to potential members and volunteers
Report to Community Manager; supervises: none
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Reliable transportation and documentation of a valid drivers’ license
Required automobile insurance and safe driving record
Some related recruitment or direct sales experience preferred
Experience with Girl Scouts preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bi-lingual preferred
Must complete in-person paid training provided by GSWCF
Ability to utilize basic office equipment including computers and phones
Able to transport, lift, carry and display recruitment and program materials to multiple sites
Registration as a member of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida
Availability to work a variable schedule averaging 12 to 20 hours per week, including weekdays and Saturdays (weekday availability must include 10am-2pm and 5pm-8pm; Saturday availability should include 11am-3pm)
