About the role

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day regional sales team organization and local offices in the region
  • Instill sales strategies, tools, and disciplines to execute sales effectively
  • Drive new business growth by generating leads and fostering relationships with existing and prospective customers and partners
  • Initiate, lead, and close large turnkey projects involving communications infrastructure in target countries
  • Provide consistent updates to Division management on market developments, customer targets, pipelines, and regional sales forecasts
  • Oversee sales processes, funnel management, and negotiation of commercial agreements
  • Orchestrate and mobilize the company’s internal resources to execute account capture strategy
  • Cultivate strong C-Level relationships with customers, channel partners, and relevant organizations
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and external events
  • Mentor and develop high-performing team members and address underperformance
  • Own, deliver, and be measured on P&L, bookings, revenue and EBIT

Requirements

  • 10 years or more experience in business development and sales capture of major Satcom/Telecom/Mobile market customers
  • Track record of initiating programs, leading the capture effort, and bringing to closure major programs ($10M and above)
  • Experience working with Telecom/MNOs and established contacts and relationships in the APAC region
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy
  • Experience managing a regional sales organization
  • A self-starter with motivation and agile approach
  • Knowledge of Satcom an advantage
  • A bachelor's degree or a similar technical field (preferred)
  • A master’s degree is desirable (business or a technical field)
