Inside Sales

• Scanning the biotech and life sciences landscape for funding rounds, leadership changes, conference activity, and partnership news - and translating those signals into actionable briefs for the sales team.
• Use tools to draft scientifically credible, trigger-specific outreach at scale - emails and LinkedIn messages that are personal.
• Owning HubSpot end-to-end: workflows, data hygiene, reporting, and optimisation.
• Building and running outreach sequences via Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, with smart timing and follow-up logic.
• Coordinating conference outreach - mapping attendees, scheduling pre/post-event follow-ups, making sure no warm lead goes cold.
• Documenting what works. You'll build simple playbooks and train the team on the tools and tactics that are moving the needle.
• Qualifying inbound and self-sourced leads against our Ideal Customer Profile - keeping the pipeline focused on the highest-relevance biotech and genetics accounts.

Inside Sales Lead – Sales Enablement

Communications

• Plan, schedule, and publish content across our social channels, with an eye on performance and brand consistency.
• Draft blogs, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, and email campaigns that make complex science feel human and compelling.
• Support our PR activity - media monitoring, coverage reports, press release drafts, and briefing materials for senior leaders.
• Help plan and coordinate conferences, trade shows, and webinars, including on-the-day presence.
• Assist with campaign execution and tracking across both the comms and commercial marketing functions.
• Keep our content calendar, mailing lists, and sales materials library organised and up to date.
• Conduct research: competitor monitoring, sector trends, audience insights - turning findings into useful summaries for the team.

• You'll invest deeply in understanding your clients' long-term R&D and data strategies, positioning Mystra as an essential part of how they work - not just a vendor, but a scientific partner.
• You'll bring a sophisticated view of the life sciences landscape, feeding strategic intelligence back into our go-to-market approach and influencing how we position and evolve our platform.
• You'll set a high standard for pipeline discipline and forecasting, contributing to strategic reporting that informs senior decision-making across the business.
• You'll carry significant internal weight as the voice of the customer — shaping how Product, Science, and Marketing think about the market and ensuring our commercial approach is always grounded in genuine value.

Associate Director/Director, Business Development

• As our Business Development Lead, you'll be a driven, scientifically-minded commercial professional helping to grow Mystra’s penetration into the pharma and biotech market.
• You'll own your pipeline, build real relationships with client R&D and data teams, and play a hands-on role in one of the most exciting growth areas in life sciences.
• New Business Development: You'll identify, qualify, develop, and close opportunities across pharma and biotech - connecting with potential clients virtually and at conferences and events, building pipeline, and leading sales conversations that connect Mystra's capabilities to real research challenges.
• Client Relationships: You'll develop an understanding of your clients' R&D and data priorities, and build trusted relationships with scientific and commercial stakeholders and keeping them engaged throughout the sales process and beyond.
• Market Awareness: You'll stay curious about what's happening across the life sciences landscape, bringing insights from client conversations back to the team and helping evolve our positioning and messaging.
• Sales Operations: You'll keep your pipeline accurate and up to date in our CRM, contributing to forecasting and reporting that helps the wider team plan effectively.

• Working on Mystra, our SaaS platform, you'll translate complex genomic workflows into experiences that feel intuitive for the statistical geneticists and bioinformaticians who rely on them every day.
• Product Definition: You'll collaborate closely with Product to turn high-level priorities into clear, actionable user stories - bringing the kind of thoughtful detail that helps engineering teams do their best work.
• UX Architecture: Whether you're mapping a complex user flow for a statistical geneticist, making sense of a dense API response, or validating an IA with real users, you'll bring clarity to genuinely difficult problems.
• AI Interface Design: You'll design interaction patterns for LLM-integrated features -thinking carefully and empathetically about how scientists prompt, iterate, and trust AI-generated outputs in high-stakes workflows.
• UI Execution: From high-fidelity Figma prototypes to direct front-end contributions using AI-assisted coding tools, you'll see your work all the way through to production.
