About the role
- Collaborating with Indian Health Service to establish enterprise EHR design.
- Implement enterprise governance, tooling, reporting, design, testing, and build in support of IHS objectives.
- Lead team of both GDIT and partner resources.
- Understand Oracle Health solutions and implementation methodology.
- Translate commercial methodology and approach to meet needs of IHS EHR modernization program.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of tasks in assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, financial and business development activities.
- Strategize process improvements to ensure everyone completes tasks on schedule.
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Utilize broad understanding of system capabilities and limitations across all venues of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Degree in Healthcare and/or Information Sciences highly desirable.
- 8 years of healthcare experience.
- Experience with large scale implementation management experience.
- Experience with Federal implementation management experience.
- Deliverable Management experience.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Health.
- Ability to travel 25% to 50% of the year, if needed.
