The Senior Manager Regional Sales is responsible for leading and directing the new equipment sales team to drive sales performance with a focus on meeting and exceeding short- and long-range sales goals in the assigned region.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional targets and drive revenue growth.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of the regional sales team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet their goals.
Monitor sales metrics and provide reporting on performance against targets.
Frequent travel within the region to support and manage the sales team effectively.
Designs and directs the work of the functional area.
Selects, coaches and develops the team, setting objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the team.
Manages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and development.
Designs and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered and performance is systematically improved.
Advises sales representatives on their current deals
Reviews customer activity, anticipates consumer needs and improves customer satisfaction.
Establishes and maintains key customer relationships.
Regularly joins sales representatives on sales calls.
Ensures the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance.
Analyzes sales metrics and report on performance against targets.
Optimizes the sales process and tactics
Monitors market trends and provides regular competitor analysis.
Builds strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders
Locates opportunities to expand client base.
Performs other duties as assigned.
