About the role
- Own genedx.com strategy implementation, ensuring it supports business goals, delivers value to users, and reflects the brand effectively
- Lead web refresh and CMS migration; implementation of web strategy and digital objectives
- Collaborate with Design, Product, and Marketing to enhance user experience and site performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the web function, coordinating across Marketing, Design, Development, Product, and other internal teams
- Manage relationships with external agencies, contractors, and tool providers to ensure project execution and operational efficiency
- Implement web content strategy and feature enhancements; serve as gatekeeper and brand steward for website content
- Maintain a content management system (CMS) to ensure accurate and efficient publishing
- Act as key stakeholder for the web tech stack and partner with IT, Product, and Compliance for platform enhancements and governance
- Collaborate to evolve workflows, permissions, and taxonomy to optimize publishing efficiency and accuracy
- Support discovery and planning for future platform improvements, integrations, or CMS enhancements
- Optimize website content for search engines; conduct keyword research and content audits
- Provide regular operational reporting on web performance, user engagement, demand-generation outcomes, and content effectiveness
- Use data insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the website’s impact on business objectives
- Report to and work alongside the Director of Digital; self-directed role
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
- 6+ years of experience in web marketing, web product management, and/or digital marketing
- Expertise with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Webflow)
- Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Conductor, Pendo)
- Strong understanding of web standards, UX/UI best practices, personalization, SEO/AEO/SEM principles, and analytics tracking
- Familiarity with privacy and accessibility compliance (e.g., GDPR, WCAG)
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical, creative, and business teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to be self-directed
- Proven ability to lead web projects and initiatives from concept through execution
