About the role

  • Coordinate or lead planning, execution, and delivery of robotic deployment projects from concept to commissioning with factory teams and integrators
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets aligned with stakeholders
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, safety, and external vendors/integrators
  • Manage project risks, change controls, and resource constraints to ensure successful deployment
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation/robotization opportunities and define ROI, payback period, and KPIs
  • Prepare and present detailed business cases to Business Line leadership and robotics & automation council
  • Validate technical feasibility and integration of robotic systems; oversee FAT and SAT and post-installation performance validation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and internal quality requirements
  • Support development of roadmaps for future robotic initiatives and scalability of running projects
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend long-term enhancements
  • Support internal capability building and knowledge transfer across sites

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) or related field
  • Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in robotics implementation, automation, or manufacturing project management
  • Proven track record delivering robotic/automation projects in factory environments
  • Experience with low-volume, high-mix production and scaling capacity through automation
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Competent in project management and associated tools
  • Strong understanding of robotic systems (collaborative robots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, actuators)
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing systems, lean principles, and digital transformation tools
  • Experience with SAP and IoT is a plus
  • Leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in cross-functional environments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Availability for international travel
