About the role
- Coordinate or lead planning, execution, and delivery of robotic deployment projects from concept to commissioning with factory teams and integrators
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets aligned with stakeholders
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, safety, and external vendors/integrators
- Manage project risks, change controls, and resource constraints to ensure successful deployment
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation/robotization opportunities and define ROI, payback period, and KPIs
- Prepare and present detailed business cases to Business Line leadership and robotics & automation council
- Validate technical feasibility and integration of robotic systems; oversee FAT and SAT and post-installation performance validation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and internal quality requirements
- Support development of roadmaps for future robotic initiatives and scalability of running projects
- Monitor emerging technologies and recommend long-term enhancements
- Support internal capability building and knowledge transfer across sites
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) or related field
- Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in robotics implementation, automation, or manufacturing project management
- Proven track record delivering robotic/automation projects in factory environments
- Experience with low-volume, high-mix production and scaling capacity through automation
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Competent in project management and associated tools
- Strong understanding of robotic systems (collaborative robots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, actuators)
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing systems, lean principles, and digital transformation tools
- Experience with SAP and IoT is a plus
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in cross-functional environments
- Strong analytical skills
- Availability for international travel
