Lead the development and execution of the digital transformation roadmap for the Legal function in support of all GE Vernova businesses
Assess baseline technology adoption and develop a strategic multi-year roadmap for the Digital Legal Platform
Outline and execute technology/data enablement including data quality/accessibility, systems-based controls, data analytics, Gen AI, and automated workflows
Manage existing Legal tech stack and partner with functional leaders and third parties (law firms, technology providers) to identify enablement opportunities
Partner closely with GE Vernova business Legal teams and adjacent functions (DT, Compliance, Finance) to align resources and realize the digital vision
Provide clear, actionable recommendations to secure executive buy-in and funding
Lead execution of high-priority analytics projects to demonstrate impact and ROI
Develop dashboards, metrics, analytics, and reporting packages for real-time business insights and stronger governance
Drive continuous improvement to meet regulatory expectations and business needs
Support development of KPIs and regular reporting packages in partnership with Legal Operations
Establish Center of Excellence goals, accountability measures, staffing, and centralized data/technology strategy
Lead, train, and mentor program managers and data analytics professionals, creating professional development pathways
Report to the Chief Technology Counsel and be based at Vernova Headquarters in Cambridge, MA or Washington, DC
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy leadership roles, with a demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business impact
3+ years of experience managing teams and complex projects, with a focus on scaling analytics capabilities and driving enterprise-wide initiatives
Proven experience partnering with legal, compliance, audit, or similar organizations to address risk
Strong expertise in analytics frameworks, techniques, and advanced analytics platforms
Proven ability to translate data into compelling insights that drive action and decision-making
Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
Solid understanding of AI/Machine Learning applications and experience integrating these capabilities into business workflows
Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and building enterprise-wide capabilities for improved risk management
Strong problem-solving skills with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a global environment, set priorities and drive tasks and projects to conclusion in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and analytical tools like Tableau, Power BI, Python, SQL or similar tools
Experience with Legal technology tools such as Relativity, ONIT, or Harvey
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening
Role requires ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information (if applicable)
