About the role
- Define and lead the business intelligence strategy for the stakeholder area and act as product owner for BI solutions
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into actionable, data-driven requirements
- Guide the design and delivery of scalable dashboards and tools, ensuring quality, governance, and business impact
- Mentor BI team members and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning
- Transform complex data into compelling insights that influence strategic decisions
- Champion innovation through new tools and methodologies
- Collaborate across departments to ensure BI solutions are integrated and relevant
- Manage successful delivery of BI projects and help shape a collaborative, inclusive team environment that supports professional development and growth of the BI function
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in Power BI (or similar BI tools like Tableau), SQL for data extraction and transformation and ideally Python or R for advanced analytics
- Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business needs into actionable BI solutions
- Proven ability to simplify complex data and communicate insights to non-technical audiences
- Experience working with large, diverse datasets and multiple data sources
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead through influence and expertise
