About the role

Recommend new business and operational strategies based on analysis and insights
Uncover insights through exploratory analysis, evaluating event impacts and trends to support proactive strategy development
Create scalable, innovative business solutions by working closely with cross-functional teams across fraud, analytics, underwriting, pricing, technology, claims, revenue, vendor management, etc.
Foster an innovative mindset and be ready to challenge status-quo by adopting new ways of doing things, automating existing tasks and proposing self-serve tools to our partners
Design and manage intuitive dashboards and tools that offer a unified, real-time view of the fraud detection and prevention, enabling smarter decisions across the organization
Champion data integrity and accuracy by establishing validation methods and clear documentation practices
Advance data literacy across the team, promoting best practices in business intelligence and data storytelling
Mentor and support team growth, sharing technical knowledge and business insight to uplift team capability

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field
Bilingual in English and French (required)
Strong coding skills in SQL and Python
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Shiny/Posit)
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, especially for quality control and data validation
Strong communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and be able to summarize results
Skilled in critical thinking, creative problem-solving, time management and multi-tasking
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
