About the role
- Set up and maintain remote connectivity for GEHC Imaging and Ultrasound systems at customer sites.
- Ensure InSite™ broadband technology and its digital tools are enabled to maximize Imaging modality uptime, drive operational efficiency, and deliver a quality customer experience.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support to both internal and external customers.
- Configure and maintain GEHC VPN routers.
- Configure and troubleshoot IPsec, IKE/ISAKMP VPN tunnels.
- Configure Route Based VPN tunnels.
- Configure IKEv2 policy-based VPN tunnels.
- Troubleshoot TLS connections.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers during the troubleshooting process.
- Properly document troubleshooting steps and communications in the connectivity database.
- Manage multiple simultaneous tasks/projects and prioritize to meet targets.
- Perform small to large-scale VPN maintenance, including migrations and consolidations, in partnership with internal and external customers.
- Support the Connectivity team on other connectivity and special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience or Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience working with Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Security or a related field.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Attention to detail, and effective decision-making capabilities
- Excellent customer service skills, and ability to work with customers with various technical skill sets
- Experience with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
- CCNA, CCNP or CCIE Certification
- Palo Alto Networks Certification or experience
- Ability to work in a seasoned and established team
- Experience with remote connectivity, route-based VPN, cybersecurity concepts, and web filtering
