About the role
- Deploy, configure, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (DDC, StoreFront, WEM, Director).
- Design and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions for scalability and performance.
- Troubleshoot session connectivity, virtualization, and user experience issues.
- Configure and support IGEL thin clients for cloud-hosted environments.
- Collaborate with network, platform, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, reliable service delivery.
- Assist in migration planning and integration of hybrid cloud virtualization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in desktop and application virtualization engineering.
- 3+ years of Federal or DoD IT experience (military IT experience counts).
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft AVD and Citrix in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
- Certifications such as Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty or CCP-V preferred.
- Familiarity with RMF compliance and secure remote access technologies.
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).
