About the role

  • Manage a dynamic territory representing GE Appliances' Air & Water product portfolio to distributors and customers
  • Prospect, recruit, and onboard new plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (PHVAC) wholesale distributors
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Partner with national account teams and third-party rep firms to execute a comprehensive regional sales growth plan
  • Deliver customer-specific programs, resolve issues efficiently, and foster trust and long-term engagement
  • Lead training sessions and product demonstrations to communicate the advantages of GE Appliances' Air & Water solutions
  • Use reporting and analysis tools to track performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide leadership and alignment for the Region’s third-party manufacturing representatives

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally within the plumbing or HVAC industry (vendor or distributor)
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time throughout the NY/Northern NJ Region
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Preferred: Experience developing and implementing strategic territory growth plans
  • Competitive, solutions-oriented mindset and tenacity for tackling challenges with creativity
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (GE Appliances participates in E-Verify)
