About the role
- Research and identify potential customers primarily through outbound cold calling as well as emails, and networking.
- Identify key decision-makers within insurance agencies, and generate interest in DMS’s insurance lead products.
- Engage prospects to uncover business needs, budget, decision-making, processes, and timelines.
- Own and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools.
- Conduct discovery calls, deliver product demos/presentations, create proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business.
- Understand customer needs and requirements, overcome objections and vet opportunities to determine alignment with DMS’s insurance platforms.
- Consistently meet monthly sales goals and daily KPIs.
- Collaborate with customer success to ensure smooth onboarding and long term client success.
- Act as the voice of the customer, providing insights to leadership to refine offerings and sales strategy.
- Stay informed on current insurance industry trends, target audiences, and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of full- cycle B2B sales experience with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas.
- Significant outbound cold calling experience is a MUST.
- Performance marketing experience with a focus in CPL/CPA metrics
- Proficient in key aspects of SaaS experience
- Proficiency in GSuite (Excel, Gmail, Word, etc.)
- CRM Systems and integrated dialer platforms (Salesforce or similar CRMs).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel and represent the company in trade shows and industry events.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and management.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision makers.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Preferred: Experience working in the Insurance Industry or Insurance Online Lead Generation.
- Preferred: Previous experience working with Salesforce
- Preferred: Experience with over the phone verbal communication during cold calls and writing cold business emails
- Preferred: Strong phone presence and experience conducting a high volume (100+/day) of outbound cold calls
- Preferred: Knowledge of corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Preferred: Knowledge of effectively managing and reporting on individual sales pipelines in order to hit monthly and quarterly sales quotas
