About the role

  • Setting, directing, and executing strategy for global clients or major regional accounts
  • Carrying sales quota and managing one to three direct reports
  • Developing trust-based, value-added relationships with senior technology leaders
  • Leading overall account and territory strategy to drive YoY growth
  • Developing exemplary account solutions and license architectures
  • Orchestrating and marshaling account planning with sales team members
  • Attracting and retaining top talent within sales team
  • Driving high activity by coordinating prospecting strategies
  • Becoming a trusted advisor for the client
  • Account management to increase customer engagement and retention

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Track record of success in quota-bearing consultative selling environment
  • Experience in high technology (services or software) sales
  • Experience owning and developing trust-based relationships with C-Level clients
  • Proficient in global account planning and territory management
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, influencing skills, and executive presence
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and procurement processes
  • Strong presentation skills and business application proficiency (e.g. PowerPoint, CRM tools, Word, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree – desired
