About the role

  • Lead the vision and execution of Future’s creative output across paid media, influencer content, organic social, website, email, and product touchpoints
  • Serve as a hands-on creative leader and strategic partner, blending performance-driven experimentation with long-term brand-building
  • Oversee and mentor the creative team, fostering a culture of creative excellence and experimentation
  • Partner with Performance, Lifecycle, Content, and Product teams to ensure creative drives measurable results while reinforcing brand identity
  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems, templates, and guidelines to ensure quality, cohesion, and efficiency
  • Push storytelling through motion, video, animation, and interactive formats that resonate with diverse audiences
  • Ensure quality and consistency across all visual assets, balancing speed and craft
  • Champion and evolve the brand identity as the company scales
  • Stay ahead of trends in design, culture, and platforms to keep creative fresh and high-impact
  • Report to the Head of Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in visual design, creative direction, or brand design, ideally in consumer/DTC businesses
  • Portfolio spanning brand identity, still imagery, video, and motion creative demonstrating craft and business impact
  • Experience leading and mentoring designers, agencies, or contractors with a track record of raising creative standards
  • Systems thinker able to scale design quality through repeatable tools, guidelines, and templates
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
  • Comfortable working across both static and motion formats
  • Ability to translate performance data into creative iterations, balancing storytelling with direct-response needs
  • Strong collaboration skills across marketing, product, content, and leadership
  • Strong point of view on design and storytelling, open to iteration and experimentation
  • Passion about fitness, health, and technology
