About the role
- Lead sales organizations across multiple business units within a vertical
- Build and manage an inbound/outbound sales organization
- Design sales tactics and resource plans
- Directly accountable for leading, coaching, and managing individual and team performance
- Lead forecasting efforts, pipeline management, and backlog inspection
- Host weekly sales pipeline reviews and win/loss evaluation meetings
- Monitor and analyze sales performance
- Develop new sales approaches to penetrate target customer markets
- Drive and foster a positive organizational culture
Requirements
- 8-10 years of B2B selling experience to SMB, mid-market, and/or enterprise customers
- Direct experience leading sales for a $50mm-$100mm SaaS P&L
- Experience selling software with payments preferred
- Experience building and managing best-in-class sales teams of > 10 people in a distributed environment
- Strong business acumen with a focus on achieving revenue goals
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and sales engagement platforms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment
