About the role
- Create engaging, high-quality social content across Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Manage day-to-day content publishing and community engagement across FOS social platforms.
- Collaborate with social and editorial teams to turn stories into visually compelling, social-first content.
- Drive engagement and audience growth through creative storytelling and community management strategies.
- Monitor analytics, report weekly insights, and recommend optimization strategies.
- Plan and execute content around key events, breaking news, and industry trends.
- Partner with the Director of Social to shape organic and paid content strategies.
- Maintain brand consistency while exploring innovative formats, trends, and new approaches.
- Assist with multimedia content creation, including video, graphics, and interactive posts.
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring FOS content to life through storytelling and real-time engagement.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience managing and creating social content for a brand or media organization.
- Passion for sports, business, and culture, with the ability to translate industry trends into engaging content.
- Strong editorial judgment, storytelling skills, and visual communication sense.
- Comfortable creating copy and assets in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking direction and acting on feedback.
- Proficiency in video editing and graphic design tools is a plus.
- Experience overseeing large social media accounts is a plus.
