About the role
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Craft insightful reports to aid managerial decision-making
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory mandates during book closures
- Facilitate budgeting and forecasting processes for Group and business units
- Perform "What-if" scenario planning and variance analysis
- Present financial insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage and update financial databases and systems to guarantee data integrity and accuracy
- Identify potential enhancements in reporting tools and methodologies
- Run ad hoc financial analyses on unit economics, CAC, LTV, and headcount KPIs
- Contribute to special projects aimed at driving process improvements and organizational efficiency
- Shape strategic decisions across the company through financial planning and analysis
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in FP&A or financial controlling roles
- Proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Domo, Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in fast-paced settings
- Preferred: Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite, SAP) and FP&A software in SaaS platforms
- Preferred: Exposure to a hi-tech start-up environment
- Preferred: Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders through storytelling
