💰 $70,000 - $80,000 per year
About the role
- Create best-in-class training including live remote, in-person, and multimedia-rich asynchronous learning experiences
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify learning objectives, gather requirements, define outcomes, and establish success metrics
- Conduct needs analysis to ensure training addresses business requirements
- Design remote/live/blended/async training solutions that meet business requirements and support adoption post-launch
- Develop training assets: courses, infographics, videos, tech click-throughs, job aids, practice activities, live presentations, multi-day curriculums, workshops, facilitator guides, and assessments
- Evaluate training effectiveness using appropriate Kirkpatrick Levels and identify areas for improvement
- Create and update learning assets to support retention, transfer, and application of knowledge and skills
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and solicit feedback on training programs and materials
- Work with leaders and Learning & Development team to meet training delivery schedules with appropriate resourcing
- Act as an instructor or facilitator when needed and help build the training model from scratch
Requirements
- Instructional Design BS or MS degree and/or formidable ID certification program
- 3+ years of instructional design experience using adult learning principles and techniques
- Portfolio highlighting work (required upon applying and to discuss during interview)
- Strong recent experience in multi-day curriculum development, e-learning development, and multimedia content creation
- Experience assessing learners' skills and evaluating a training’s effectiveness over time and reporting across the business
- Experience with e-learning development tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite or other)
- Strong experience with SharePoint
- Experience with multimedia development in audio and video
- Experience working with an LMS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management, organization, and execution skills
- Willingness to learn other roles to truly understand the business, including speaking telephonically with customers
- Seasoned experience working through all phases of ADDIE in a business setting
- Must be willing to travel occasionally to any FreedomCare location nationally when necessary
