About the role
- Own the full sustainment lifecycle for deployed systems, ensuring product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Support provisioning, level-of-repair analysis, and PHS&T activities to enable effective DoD supply chain integration.
- Identify and mitigate sustainment risks during new product gate processes.
- Lead internal configuration change management processes and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) coordination.
- Prepare source technical data and drawings in support of new programs, field modifications, and Technical Manual updates.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Program Teams to analyze and report obsolescence risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Act as a technical liaison to Field Service teams, providing engineering triage and operational maintenance support.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations workflows and support new process rollouts.
- Utilize spreadsheets, NetSuite, Arena, and Jira to track, document, and report on technical and programmatic activities.
- Manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure seamless program execution.
- On-site at Clarksburg, MD facility; work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, program teams, and field service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product support, sustainment engineering, lifecycle management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Experience with configuration management and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) coordination.
- Experience with provisioning, level-of-repair analysis, and PHS&T activities.
- Experience analyzing and mitigating obsolescence risks and collaborating with supply chain teams.
- Experience providing engineering triage and field service support for operational-level maintenance.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, NetSuite, Arena, and Jira.
- Background in engineering or related technical fields.
