Machine Learning Engineer

• Define the roadmap for the internal ML platform and ML Ops, taking ownership of existing tools and selecting the right additions to meet business needs.
• Lead a cross-functional team of ML Engineers and specialists to build robust CI/CD pipelines for machine learning.
• Establish highly optimized automations for model development, ensuring consistency in feature stores, model versioning, and deployment strategies.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure to handle massive datasets while maintaining a keen eye on compute costs and resource allocation.

Director of Machine Learning Platform

Engineer

• Design, integrate, and test RF front end design & subsystems supporting EMSO and EW sensing, including antennas, RF front-end components, and software-defined radios (SDRs).
• Develop RF architectures that enable wideband spectrum awareness, direction finding, and spectrum agility across VHF, UHF, and lower SHF bands.
• Work with external vendors and partners to specify, evaluate, and validate custom RF components or subsystems when required to ensure Forterra’s systems can support a wide array for tasks.
• Rapidly prototype RF systems using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or government off-the-shelf (GOTS) components, balancing speed, performance, and system maturity.
• Perform RF field testing, system demonstrations, experimentation, and validation.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate RF hardware into autonomous vehicle platforms, considering antenna placement, grounding, shielding, and enclosure considerations.
• Diagnose and resolve RF performance issues including interference, data rate/bandwidth limitations, and RF chain degradation in real-world environments.

Multifunction EW RF Engineer

Business Operations

• Lead execution of Business Systems projects from intake through rollout
• Run Agile delivery rituals including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Translate roadmap priorities into clear execution plans with milestones and dependencies
• Partner with BSAs, engineers, and functional stakeholders to align on scope, sequencing, and testing
• Own delivery hygiene including timelines, RAID logs, and release readiness
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and tradeoffs with recommended mitigation paths
• Coordinate UAT, rollout planning, enablement, and post-launch stabilization
• Provide clear, concise delivery updates to leadership and stakeholders

Technical Project Manager – Business Systems

• Lead the implementation of safety-critical software standards across defense and autonomous vehicle programs
• Develop and refine safety concepts for ground vehicle systems, including architecture, redundancy mechanisms, fault management, and verification activities
• Conduct safety analyses such as FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), FHA (Functional Hazard Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), and DFA (Dependent Failure Analysis)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on validation and verification plans for unmanned and autonomous ground vehicles

• Provide domain expertise and contributions within a team of product security engineers
• Collaborate with engineers from other cross-functional groups such as systems, safety, and test to ensure product and program level needs are met
• Development of security artifacts and required documentation to provide evidence of rigor in accordance with relevant standards
• Ensure that security requirements are clearly defined, implemented and traceable
• Audit embedded code to identify security vulnerabilities
• Work with product and engineering teams to identify, implement, and advance security with our products

• Design, build, and maintain our enterprise data warehouse on Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
• Gather requirements from both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data products.
• Support user and role provisioning, implement RBAC policies, support audits and conduct user access reviews.
• Establish data modeling standards and data governance frameworks, creating dimension and fact tables that serve analytics, machine learning, and reporting use cases.
• Implement data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, tests, and alerting.
• Document definitions, metrics, and KPIs and assist in the development of a data dictionary.
