Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives from technical analysis and solution design to hands-on development, implementation, and sustainment
Drive in-depth process analysis, optimization, and problem-solving, including diagnosing complex operational issues and developing innovative solutions
Design, implement, and ensure the sustainment of new processes, systems, and procedures applying advanced process engineering principles to improve efficiency, quality, and performance
Collaborate closely with process owners, stakeholders, and operations teams to ensure strong buy-in, successful adoption, and seamless technical integration of solutions
Provide hands-on training, coaching, and support to local teams impacted by transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), quantifying inefficiencies and ensuring delivered solutions achieve desired outcomes
Analyze, design, implement, and sustain process improvements to optimize the process and ensure successful deployment of strategic objectives within Ford's Industrial System
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing), or a highly specialized relevant technical field
5-8+ years of hands-on experience in leading operational excellence, continuous improvement, or business transformation with senior leaders as key stakeholders
Deep Domain and Contextual Expertise in automotive industry operations
Hands-on Technical Leadership and Execution, capable of driving and implementing changes directly
Exceptional analytical skills for complex technical process improvement, problem-solving, and root cause analysis
Strong skills in solution design, building, implementation, and sustainment of robust process solutions
Excellent collaboration/communication skills, effectively articulating details to diverse stakeholders
Strong project management abilities, managing initiatives from inception to delivery, including planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation
High adaptability and agility to respond to evolving technical needs and drive iterative development
Proven track record of designing and implementing significant and measurable improvements within an operational environment
Process Improvement and Problem Solving Certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt) are highly desirable
