About the role
- Ensure all PRC Sites in IMG operate in a safe manner and meet all external/internal OH&S requirements.
- Manage, with the site PRC Supervisors, all personnel
- Represent IMG PRCs at a Global level
- Own and deliver PRC KPI’s
- Manage and Maintain Parts Return and Shipment within the IMG region
- Develop and Manage an effective L2 and L3 Parts Testing and Teardown Plan on Warranty Components
- Manage Engine and Transmission Teardown process for IMG
- Develop and Manage Red Table Review (RTR) processes for IMG
- Develop and Manage a Dealer Control Strategy for IMG
- Lead the development of PRC processes and systems to ensure an effective outcome
- Manage IMG PRC Cost Budget
- Complete Other Assignment / Projects as required
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification required (Engineering preferred)
- Min 8 years’ experience leading teams in a technical environment required
- Automotive experience preferred
- Manufacturing, Quality, Material Handling experience in a high-quality manufacturing-design environment
- Strong Technical, Analytical and Project Management skills required
- An ability to manage and deliver specific projects independently
- Leadership, Results-driven attitude, Effective communication skills (incl English) both verbal and written. Ability to influence and build relationships.
- Special Knowledge/Skills Required: Quality-AI / GSAR / OWS-SERVIS2 / Micro cat / Panda / PTS, Microsoft Office / Datacubes, 8D, Statistics-SPC, Ford QOS, Project, Management
- Flexible work hours required (incl participation in global mtgs in evenings)
- Limited travel may be required.
