About the role
- Drive end-to-end implementations and solutions: partner directly with hotel partners and suppliers to architect, build, and deploy integrations with their existing ERP systems, property management systems, and operational tools
- Own the customer technical journey: lead technical discovery sessions, design custom solutions, and ensure successful production deployments that meet specific business requirements
- Build scalable integration frameworks: create reusable patterns and self-serve tools that accelerate future implementations while maintaining flexibility for customer-specific needs
- Enable rapid onboarding: identify patterns across implementations and build features that reduce time-to-value for new partners
- Shape the product roadmap: surface unmet needs from direct customer work, prototype solutions, and collaborate with product and engineering to build features that benefit all customers
- Develop strategic partnerships with sales and go-to-market teams: work closely with key technology partners to ensure deep, reliable integrations that can become distribution channels for Folio
Requirements
- You have 5+ years of hands-on experience shipping production systems
- You're comfortable owning the customer journey from initial pre-sales discovery through production implementation and ongoing optimization
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments where requirements evolve
- Full-stack generalist equally adept with client-side and server-side technologies (Ruby on Rails / Hotwire / Typescript / React / Node.js / Postgres)
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and building reliable data pipelines between enterprise systems
- Excellent technical communication - translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and gathering clear requirements from vague business objectives
- Experience building software for industries with complex operational workflows, ideally in hospitality, payments, or marketplace environments
- Experience working on early-stage teams and ability to wear multiple hats while maintaining focus on impact
- Willingness to participate in product management, technical customer success, and solution architecture tasks
- Ability to travel periodically for in-person collaboration (quarterly)
