Work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success; represent Deel to clients and clients to Deel
Engage directly with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives
Design and implement tailored technical solutions using Deel's and partner Accounting and HCMs' APIs, webhooks, and backend infrastructure
Build and enhance product features, debug issues, and improve reliability
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Solutions Engineers, and Backend/Frontend Engineers to deliver customer-specific and scalable product improvements
Contribute real-world customer use cases back into product planning and the roadmap
Provide technical support during onboarding, implementation, and post-sale expansion
Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, helping them unlock the full power of Deel
Requirements
Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders and external clients
Experience delivering client-facing solutions, whether in implementation, consulting, or embedded technical roles
5+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack software engineer, ideally in SaaS or B2B platforms
Fluency in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, with deep understanding of software engineering best practices
Strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL — including query optimization, migrations, and modeling
Hands-on API development experience, validation, and performance tuning
Ability to engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements and business objectives
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product Managers, Solutions Engineers, and Backend/Frontend Engineers
