About the role
- Lead sales and business development in Türkiye and neighboring countries with P&L responsibility
- Responsible for overall results and accountability for the P&L and balance sheet
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and optimize cost structures
- Market and competitor analysis; find new business opportunities
- Build and lead a proactive sales and marketing team across countries
- Build upon existing company strategy and communicate it to the team
- Act as the face of the company for major customers, suppliers and headquarters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus
- Experience in leading a sales organization in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar sector with P&L responsibility
- Fluency in Turkish and English is a must
- Well-developed business development / sales / marketing skills; an opportunity seeker and deal maker
- Strong leadership qualities, able to inspire others and build trust
- Strong change management capability
- Financially astute, understands the financial ramifications of actions
- Residing in Istanbul
