About the role

  • Support key sales individuals to grow the business and make an impact with clients and partners
  • Advise finance and treasury functions within major corporates on improving and implementing innovative inventory and supply-chain finance solutions
  • Structure and build complex solutions for customers within a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Interact with international and local banks, advisory firms, and large corporates with US operations
  • Focus on business and revenue targets with measurable results to win new business for the Group
  • Manage potential client expectations and liaise between clients, internal support, execution teams and Management to ensure seamless transaction goals
  • Develop new partner routes to market, primarily with one or more banks
  • Generate new business sales (new logo selling) and deliver associated revenue in year, primarily via banking partners
  • Territory and market planning and execution; ensure new logo clients transition smoothly into steady state delivery
  • Report to Global Head of Sales

Requirements

  • Extensive technical expertise advising finance and treasury functions within major corporates
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable new business development experience in trade, financial services, supply chain or consulting (deal origination to close)
  • Experience operating at CxO / Board level, particularly with CFO / Accounting / Treasury / Procurement / Supply Chain contacts within Fortune 500 / FTSE 250 clients
  • Complex deals experience (multi-stakeholder) with transactions >$100m
  • Ability to identify and present at relevant public / industry events
  • Proven hunting/new logo sales experience in collaboration with banking partners
  • Familiarity with the culture of a founder-led or start-up environment (desirable)
  • Consulting experience in a relevant / upper quartile consulting house (desirable)
  • Established network in European / Asian or US banks (Trade business) (desirable)
  • Knowledge of international inventory solutions and trade finance (desirable)
  • Team / people development skills (mid to senior level) (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman or other relevant sales methodology (desirable)
