About the role
- Diligently manage and coordinate all aspects of projects assigned to ensure proper design and solution.
- Participate in strategic planning and development of the enterprise architecture.
- Define, design, implement and holds up infrastructure & application solutions.
- Prepare Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems.
- Ensure knowledge pertaining to new implementations and technologies are adequately divided into the team.
- Ensure adequate monitoring and controls are in place to ensure stability of the solutions, Service-Now incidents and Baan.
- Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers and cross functional teams.
- Adherence to Service level acceptance accord with the Business and ensure timely reviews with stakeholders.
- Ensure proper backup and retention policies to minimize data loss and ensure minimum MTTR while fixing problems.
- Follow-up with proper root cause investigation, corrective & preventive actions to increase MTBF.
- Ensure compliance of the systems with security and compliance requirements.
- Propose system enhancements (software and hardware updates) to improve performance and reliability.
- Make final resolutions on administrative or operational matters and ensure operations’ effective achievement of goals.
- Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
- Work with EIS to maintain knowledgebase and train the team on new and updated solutions.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training, Computer, engineering or administrative or equivalent.
- Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
- Demonstrates advanced/ thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business.
- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and comprehension of connections of such processes at the site.
- Experience with Service-Now incidents and Baan (mentioned in responsibilities).
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements.
