About the role
- Support the business by ensuring operations run smoothly within a compliant and secure legal framework
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements and other legal documents essential for the company’s business operations
- Ensure adequate response to inquiries from regulatory authorities and/or third parties concerning the business activities
- Undertake legal research and manage legal risks in relation to the company's operations, with a particular focus on the fintech sector
- Keep up to date to ensure that the company complies with all relevant regulations
- Draft, review, manage and refine internal legal processes, policies and workflows
- Enable sound decision-making and safeguard operations to strengthen growth and long-term trust with clients and partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law from a recognised university
- 1+ year of relevant experience in a legal role
- Good knowledge of contract law, commercial law, corporate law, data privacy (GDPR) and relevant industry regulations in Spain and Europe
- Business-oriented approach to problem-solving and ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-lawyers effectively
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Proactive and business-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing multiple critical projects and competing deadlines
- Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish
