About the role

  • Help to establish Fivetran as the premier Data Movement platform in New Zealand
  • Drive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
  • Work with new customers to drive adoption and help them realize value as quickly as possible
  • Collaborate with channel partners and develop superior solutions that exceed customer expectations
  • Determine customer requirements and present appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate and close agreements and support new customers through the onboarding process
  • Effectively communicate through excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Liaise with and leverage internal stakeholders across multiple timezones to meet the demands of our customers (Ex: Deal Desk, Legal, Operations)

Requirements

  • Confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements and support new customers through our onboarding process
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and build strong customer relationships
  • Understands technical concepts: Ability to grasp data and engineering concepts and can position Fivetran in a way that best fits our customer’s need
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Self-directed: Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong sense of urgency: Demonstrates a commitment to timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Thrives in fast paced environments: Ability to onboard quickly and help towards regional revenue targets
  • Exceptional organizational skills: Effective time management, prioritization, and planning abilities
  • Intellectual curiosity: Desire to learn and stay updated on industry trends and technologies
  • Experience using Looker, SFDC and Clari (bonus)
  • Prior experience working in a data technology company (bonus)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Clari, Chorus, GSuite, Looker
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple timezones
