About the role
- Assist in the development, management, and execution of sales processes and tasks in support of market awareness, lead generation, and lead nurturing
- Help grow the new inbound merchant activity and qualify new leads to generate revenue
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels
- Manage the communication process for all new sales opportunities related to campaign and marketing initiatives
- Work with the Manager of Business Development to develop and maintain plans to track and report sales performance based on revenue goals
- Identify and recommend improvements to internal sales processes and procedures to increase client satisfaction
- Collaborate with sales team, CSMs, and other teams to streamline processes impacting net new sales
- Run reports, analyze data, and provide recommendations to optimize key personas for lead programs
- Assist in development, tracking and reporting of business development campaigns and properly hand-off net new sales
- Analyze marketing data to develop insights and recommendations to Sales Operations & Manager BDA
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of sales experience in the payments industry
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing concepts and how to effectively apply them
- Self-motivated with the ability to think strategically to identify, generate, nurture and qualify leads to turn them into sales ready opportunities
- Aptitude for overcoming objections and effectively communicating value propositions to key decision makers and influencers
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office Suite, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, Salesloft, Demandbase, D&B, and any other demand generation tools
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
