Systems Engineer

• Lead Guardian OS, Network, and other major software release planning and implementation
• Configure, plan, and manage implementation of system hardware upgrades
• Function as a technical lead on larger projects while planning projects and implementations
• Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the NonStop systems including client related connectivity, application, and platform issues
• Establish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to auditors (internal and external) for PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments
• Work with business leaders to provide support, advice, and guidance on the correct application of products/technology solutions
• Perform Tier 3 Security functions such as build and support NonStop security infrastructure
• Provide troubleshooting support to level 1 & level 2 support groups
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade NonStop systems including operating systems and applications (Guardian, Safeguard, NS Java, NS7X (X-Series), XP7 Storage, EMC Data Domain, Comforte, XYPRO security suites, Gravic, Shadowbase, MQ, Control-M, Prognosis, NCI-Control & Compare)
• Collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasionally work non-standard/overnight hours
