Collaborate with business partners to gather, interpret, and document business requirements, including data discovery and analysis.
Participate in planning meetings to represent engineering teams and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
Act as a liaison between business and development teams, aligning stakeholders on priorities and supporting roadmap planning with product managers.
Develop clear and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), including process mapping, gap analysis, and SWOT analysis.
Support project management activities for assigned initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Generate reports to analyze and monitor business performance.
Troubleshoot application or process issues, document findings, and recommend solutions.
Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases for system, user acceptance, and integration testing.
Evaluate test results, report issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Five (5) or more years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
Familiarity working with Databricks, Python and data ingestion mechanisms (APIs, SFTPs, JSON, Flat files).
Knowledge of Agile/scrum processes and prioritization.
Two (2) or more years of quality assurance responsibilities such as planning and testing.
Ability to present to stakeholders and leadership teams with strong negotiation skills.
Experience in a deadline driven environment with a knack for organization and detail.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
A plus if you have: Business Systems Analyst experience with a focus in data engineering or analytics-heavy environments.
A plus if you have: An understanding of general concepts of the healthcare industry, types of information used, how the data is produced, consumed, and transformed.
A plus if you have: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
A plus if you have: Experience facilitating Quality Assurance processes.
