About the role
- Drive data and analytic strategy, development and implementation of more complex data and analytic products to drive business decisions, customer/agent experience, profitability and growth.
- Review enterprise-wide complex initiatives related to data and analytic efforts, including data governance.
- Consult, manage or execute on data efforts of moderate complexity to understand requirements and existing business processes and lead the design, development, implementation or management of data products.
- Ensure code, current architectural patterns, data and analytic principles and data governance guidelines are adhered to during execution.
- Lead efforts to define moderately complex solutions and manage the overall development effort, individually or leading a team.
- Lead a team providing ongoing support, maintenance and modification of existing complex data products or solutions and the flow of data relating to enterprise applications.
- Oversee the collection and reporting of complex data to outside organizations.
- Communicate strategy concepts to individuals unfamiliar and enable enterprise plans; create strategic plans and translate plans to action across domains.
- Share innovative ideas in Data Analytics to leadership and execute on larger projects within timelines.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of related experience required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree or advanced certification preferred.
- Possesses strong technical aptitude.
- Experience in dimensional modeling, BI visualizations and pipeline orchestration.
- Moderate understanding of statistical concepts and advanced analytic capabilities.
- Basic familiarity and understanding of cloud computing environments.
- Understanding of Data Governance practices and principles.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent collaboration and team building skills.
- Experience interacting with executive and senior leadership around data access, quality, appropriate use, metric definitions and standardization.
- Effective leadership skills and ability to coach and deliver constructive feedback.
