💰 $60,000 - $70,000 per year
About the role
- Advocate for Family Resource Home Care culture and align training with company mission and values
- Work with Director of Training and Development to provide training, mentoring, and coaching to caregiving staff
- Design, develop and deliver comprehensive statewide HCA training programs and materials
- Ensure training programs adhere to legal and regulatory requirements
- Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of training (live, conference calls, video recordings, written)
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions and tailor programs to different learning styles
- Provide mentoring to support successful completion of HCA course and role proficiency
- Assess training effectiveness via feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics and adjust programs
- Identify skill gaps and training opportunities and support skills lab, continuing education, and specialty training
- Maintain records of training activities, attendance, test results, and expenses
- Collaborate with other departments and meet regularly with supervisor to review program progress and analytics
- Support other projects and initiatives as directed; perform other duties as assigned
- Travel approximately 30% of the time; spend ~70% of time in office environment with on-site training time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Education or experience in the adult learning field
- Proven experience as a trainer or in a similar role
- Able to travel to assigned locations as directed by company needs and initiatives
- Demonstrated abilities in excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and adapt training methods to different learning styles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
- Able to speak, read and write English fluently
- 2+ year experience in long term care or related healthcare field
