Support the administration and monitoring of compliance programs and procedures.
Maintain records of compliance activities, training, and certifications.
Track regulatory updates and assist in communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
Organize, maintain, and track contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Support drafting, review, and processing of routine forms and correspondence under Corporate Counsel supervision.
Manage legal department databases, filing systems, and workflow tools.
Assist with development, rollout, and maintenance of company policies and ensure employee access to updated policies and compliance resources.
Coordinate compliance and policy-related training sessions.
Assist in the Patient Grievance process.
Provide employees with compliance guidance on established processes and serve as a resource for departments needing compliance or legal operations assistance.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations teams on compliance-related initiatives.
Report to Corporate Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer; work schedule generally M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; exempt, salary status: full-time.
Requirements
Ability to fluently speak and read English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, and manuals.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written, with all levels of staff and patients.
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years assisting in a legal and/or compliance department.
Healthcare related compliance and legal assistance experience.
Willingness to cross-train and be cross-trained in other roles/duties as needed or assigned.
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and data processing skills.
