Manage documentation, track regulatory updates, and maintain accurate records across affordable housing programs
Centralized processing of annual self-certifications for affordable housing residents
Respond to internal and external communications related to compliance matters
Maintain organized records and documentation in systems such as Yardi and SharePoint
Monitor and update payment standards, utility allowances, and property attributes
Run and audit monthly and annual compliance reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
Track incidents, down units, and regulatory forms such as 8823s
Participate in team meetings and calls related to new developments, transitions, and compliance updates
Support special projects and contribute to internal communications and team initiatives
Maintain and update property, vendor, and subsidy provider information in Yardi and tracking spreadsheets
Ensure SharePoint folders and organizational charts reflect current portfolio and team structure
Work safely and cooperatively with others, adhere to performance standards, and follow company policies
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Affordable housing certifications such as HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional), COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), or similar are highly desirable
2+ years of corporate or property administrative support experience required
Experience working with affordable housing programs such as Section 8 Vouchers, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) or HUD Programs is required
Experience working for a Property Management company, Housing Authority, or State Housing Finance Agencies (HFA) is required
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (functional to advanced level preferred)
Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Skilled in remote instruction and support
Capable of managing conflicting priorities and adjusting schedules as needed
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
Resourceful in researching solutions and navigating unfamiliar tasks
