Reach out to prospects via phone and email to introduce Expel and generate qualified leads.
Answer prospect questions and guide them into evaluating Expel’s services.
Report to the Manager of Enterprise Sales Development and work closely with marketing and senior field sales reps.
Schedule and join initial discovery calls with prospects, making a great first impression.
Use phone calls, emails, social media, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, 6sense, and online research to identify and engage target customers.
Keep detailed profiles in Salesforce and Outreach, track activities, reports, and follow-up tasks.
Stay sharp on Expel’s services, partners, competitors, and security technologies to effectively prospect and qualify leads.
Consistently hit monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and collaborate with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities.
Think creatively to find new customers and start conversations about Expel in unique ways.
Requirements
An ability to influence others and build rapport quickly – especially over the phone.

Strong communication skills – including written and verbal – and the ability to tailor outreach.

Hands-on experience with different sales techniques, including cold calls.
Resilience and perseverance that lets you overcome objections.
Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com (kudos if you’ve also got experience with prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft and Outreach).
1-2 years sales/sales development experience (and better yet, experience with selling security or cloud-related products and services).
A Bachelor’s degree or a compelling story.
Must be able to work remotely from the United Kingdom; Expel does not sponsor immigration visas.
