About the role
- Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts in the landscape and construction sectors.
- Develop strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, and commercial clients.
- Identify new sales opportunities and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Track sales activity and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Stay current on industry trends, seasonal needs, and product innovations.
- Travel up to 50% to visit branches, customers, and industry events
Requirements
- 3+ years of account management or outside sales experience (landscape supply or construction materials preferred).
- Strong knowledge of landscape products (mulch, stone, irrigation, hardscape, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites
