💰 $75,000 - $100,000 per year
About the role
- Support the full project lifecycle from proposal and design through delivery, installation, and aftercare
- Develop technical proposals in response to customer RFQs and review customer specifications, drawings, codes, and standards
- Determine engineering, design, and testing requirements and define scope of supply including equipment and software deliverables
- Coordinate with accounting, purchasing, and operations to develop accurate cost estimates
- Provide design input, perform equipment sizing and calculations, and prepare submittals and technical documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders via email and written documentation
- Support equipment installation, start-up, and aftercare and provide technical assistance to sales teams, service centers, and customers
- Travel occasionally (<25%, domestic and international)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Solid project engineering / project management skills with ability to drive tasks to completion
- Familiarity with mechanical systems; plumbing or marine systems experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially professional email and customer interactions
- Interest and willingness to learn vacuum plumbing systems
- Ability to balance technical detail with customer-oriented communication
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate across functions
- Ability to travel occasionally (<25%, domestic and international)
