About the role
- Stays up to date with evolving industry regulations, laws, and standards to ensure the organization's practices remain compliant
- Serves as subject matter expert in regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to assigned centers
- Develops and implements compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with regulatory requirements
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure processes, products, and services meet compliance standards
- Assists in completion of initial and renewal licensing/accreditation applications within specified timeframes
- Builds relationships with external regulators and serves as lead contact for external audit activities
- Conducts regular internal audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and develop corrective action plans
- Creates clear and accurate audit findings and recommendations in written audit reports for stakeholders
- Develops and provides guidance/training to employees on compliance matters
- Interfaces with regulatory agencies as needed and leads internal investigations related to potential compliance breaches
- Prepares and submits reports to senior management and regulatory bodies on compliance status and findings
- Monitors changes in regulatory landscape and anticipates potential operational impacts
- Facilitates, develops, and implements special projects as assigned and performs other administrative and supervisory duties as assigned
Requirements
- Required Travel: 25% - Travel to region’s sites for internal/external audits, training, and meetings
- Required Education/Degree: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Required Work Experience: Two years of experience in healthcare compliance preferred
