About the role

  • Manage the AV literature library, ensuring materials are current and accessible
  • Coordinate trade show kits for partner and buying group events, including tracking locations, planning relocations, managing supplies, and ensuring replenishment
  • Track invoices and spend/budget tied to events
  • Support Buying and Rep Groups with promotional programs, territory filtering, and marketing communications
  • Track strategic sales initiatives and provide timely reporting
  • Manage, analyze, and summarize weekly/monthly buying group and rep group data; create weekly updates for key stakeholders and act as liaison
  • Maintain customer and supplier records for accurate accounting for buying and rep groups
  • Support the execution of AV initiatives by tracking project timelines, deliverables, and coordinating resources
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to enhance sales effectiveness through improved tools, analytics, and insights
  • Proactively communicate with stores, field sales representatives, and internal teams to facilitate information flow and support sales efforts
  • Provide weekly tracking of category, buying and rep group performance summaries
  • Assist in generating insights using Power BI for Buying and Rep Groups analytics (e.g., year-over-year spend, product breakdown, expansion opportunities)
  • Collect and compile team feedback data tied to Partner & BG events

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A strong desire for world-class customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Prior experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role (preferred)
  • Experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce (SFDC) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI (preferred)
  • Prior industry experience (security, low-voltage, distribution) (preferred)
  • Self-starter with a great work ethic
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Aptitude for learning new products and technologies quickly
