About the role
- Provide expert technical guidance and support maintenance solutions to ensure Eriez equipment delivers lasting value
- Drive aftermarket sales initiatives and build long-term client partnerships
- Partner with clients to understand performance needs and propose tailored aftermarket solutions; review, negotiate and renew customer contracts
- Establish and execute aftermarket sales strategies and programs; cross-sell products and services for after-sales support
- Mentor customers and internal teams on product maintenance, upgrades, parts, and service best practices
- Build opportunity pipeline, prepare quotes, costings and tenders using ERP systems; support Rep Agents, Resellers and Distributors
- Lead technical presentations, demos, quoting, and issue resolution
- Visit customer sites and review spare parts; provide phone and online support for customer outcomes
Requirements
- Engineering qualification and background (mechanical, electrical, materials, or similar) with strong technical fluency
- Technical experience in sales engineering or aftermarket roles (bonus if in manufacturing, heavy industry, or equipment)
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience using SAGE or other ERP systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, customer-first mindset with ease in remote collaboration
- Keen eye for technical details, with the ability to decipher complex drawings
