The Contract Recruiter plays a pivotal role in the identification, attraction and successful placement of top talent for current and future opportunities within one or more business units
Responsible for identifying and promoting sourcing, interviewing and hiring best practices to align with business and customer needs
Drive timelines and promote various hiring initiatives including diversity talent attraction, recruiting programs, interviewing events, new manager trainings and strategic pipeline building
Serve as a strategic talent partner and consultant for their customer group
Manage the complex sales process of da Vinci® Surgical Systems into new hospitals and upgrades into existing hospitals
Consult with Hiring Managers to understand current and future needs and to fully understand positions profiles and market availability
Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process and consult with them regarding staffing best practices, trends, issues and challenges
Partner with client groups and support teams to proactively identify needs, design creative recruitment strategies, and execute all phases of the hiring process including coordination of closing conversations and documentation with all applicants
Initiate ideas for process improvement opportunities and execute and/or lead projects to implement those ideas
Uses all available data resources to tell stories, to change minds, to persuade customers and to implement change
Presents at meetings and trainings to help leaders- new and old- improve their interviewing and hiring skill
Probe to understand key requirements and develop creative sourcing strategies using market data to ensure strong candidate flow
Develop and implement sources for applicants using networking, internet sourcing, employee referral programs, job fairs, trade fairs, associations, recruitment marketing, Diversity Talent Attraction, and any other available sources
Identify passive job seekers using a full range of recruitment tactics, resources and energy
Make both operational and strategic decisions shaping recruitment strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Drive timely execution of sourcing and screening process
Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate
Propose and implement ongoing improvements to Intuitive’s recruitment efforts
Be an active participant in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Staffing team
Requirements
Requires a minimum of 5+ years of SALES recruiting experience required
Bachelor’s degree required
Recruiting experience in a healthcare or medical device setting strongly preferred
Experience with Workday and/or SmartRecruiters preferred
Proven track record of high volume, high quality recruitment across multiple skill sets
Must have demonstrated experience with full lifecycle recruiting
Pro-active in achieving the shared purpose and goals of the Staffing team
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
ERP, Talent Management or Applicant Tracking System experience preferred
Self motivated; action and results oriented; able to multi-task and manage/drive multiple requisitions and/or projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail with good organization and follow-up skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven experience working with diverse personalities and multiple levels of employees
Good listening, fact-finding and conflict management and interpersonal skills
