About the role

  • Grow sales of Industrial Refrigeration products and solutions according to yearly budget
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with OEMs, contractors, and consultants
  • Design and drive account plans and document opportunities in CRM
  • Collaborate with sales team and internal stakeholders to drive long-term growth
  • Provide high-level overview of technology and applications for industrial refrigeration product lines
  • Provide quotations and prepare valve take-off schedules, sizing valves and components for ammonia and CO2 applications
  • Negotiate using value-selling skills to secure business opportunities
  • Engage end users about expansions or new facilities and resolve conflicts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support regional consulting engineers, contractors, and end-users for out-of-region projects
  • Provide technical training to installers, OEMs, and decision-makers
  • Actively participate in local industry associations and volunteer to increase Danfoss visibility
  • Travel up to 50%

Requirements

  • BA or BS equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferable) with Business oriented mindset
  • Minimum three years of industry-related experience in a sales or supporting sales position in industrial refrigeration
  • Knowledge of System Controls and Power is a strong plus
  • In-depth knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration market, including products, major customers, competitors, and equipment suppliers
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP preferred
  • Business acumen and ability to assess customer challenges
  • Teamwork and ability to work with rep networks
  • Ability to write reports and effectively present information
  • Solid organization and prioritization skills
  • Professional, tenacious, and strong, convincing communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • CO2 or Ammonia system design experience is an asset
  • Must be located in the United States or Canada (relocation not considered)
