About the role
- Lead full regional sales organization including Inside and Outside Sales Representatives, Sales Managers, and Sales Process functions
- Achieve regional revenue and booking targets
- Drive execution of the commercial strategy
- Translate high-level sales strategies into actionable plans
- Align business processes and coach team to achieve individual and collective goals
- Set and execute commercial strategy and guide sales process improvements
- Work with upper and Executive Management to set Goals/Objectives/Targets for the region and key business accounts
- Manage other managers to deliver results
- Foster a culture of accountability and success
Requirements
- BS/BA required
- 10+ years of sales experience
- Strong communication skills
- Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
- Strong knowledge of Sales Process
- Ability/latitude to make decisions to achieve defined goals
- Acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
- Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis
- Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs
- Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
- May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt
- 50% travel required
